X theaming/recording(s)

Well I cant quite wait till this Sunday (when I can finally go on), so like whats the theaming in the station like? Is the line all indoors, and you know like those recordings, what do they say, or are there none?. OH! and are there air gates, or no? THANKS! =) And if anyone can write from the entrance to the gates, and describe when u finally get indoors, what the recordings are like, and if you see any cool theaming, that I'd REALLY appreciate. I'll do my best....

The park has installed two queues, one for FastLane and one for stand-by.  There are speakers throughout both ueues playing three selections of techno music and an occasional prerecorded announcement about the ride.  To be honest because the queue was empty for preview days I didn't get to spend much time listening to the announcement so I am not aware of what it says.

The majority of both queues is completely outside of the station building.  The view from the queue is of X's lift approach and lift and the high fan turn as well as most of Viper's layout.  In fact it is nice being so close to Viper's boomerang element.  The majority of X's layout cannot be seen from the queue.

Once you get to the top of the ramps and actually into the station you pick your row and wait.  Unfortunately it seems the park has STILL not learned a thing about station design.  Once the back seat queue fills it prevents anyone else from filling other rows.  To make matters worse because riders face backwards the last row LOOKS like the first row to unsuspecting riders.

Inside the cavernous station the same techno music plays and there are prerecorded pre-board announcements instructing riders on how to secure themselves and warning them about the opening airgates.  Again even tho I heard the announcements numerous times I couldn't tell you exactly what they are.

Someone else might be able to give you more details but really, wouldn't you rather be surprised and discover it all for yourself??

cool! thanks a lot!
do you recall what the techno was?!?!?  i wanna download it!!  im sure it was el nino, but just in case ;)
sfmmrider:  Did you say this Sunday?  The SFMM Season Passholder Preview is only during the week (M-F, except Christmas day) for this week and next.  The GP doesn't get to ride until January 12th.  Do you know something we don't?

monkeymaster:  I was not able to recognize the three selections I heard.  Once was the music the park used for the X animated ride footage last December.  Another sounded suspiciously like Crystal Method.  Perhaps if you write the park they'd tell you?
Oh crap thats right! I guess this Fri, or Mon, than
And don't forget, they're open on New Year's Day too!!
Would it be crowded New years eve day, and/or, new years day?
It could possibly be the same as Christmas Eve day.  The line for either side was only to the bottom of either the queue leading to the stairs or ramp and never went into the much larger queues before you get to the station.  Believe me, once the ride opens to the GP, those areas will be filled and then some - probably a three to four hour wait!!  After 3:00 p.m., the only lines were for the individual queues for the row you wanted to sit in.  HEAVEN!!  If you want the best ride, IMO, go under the station and into the queue that goes up the stairs.  Then head for the front row - the first row you will see is actually the back of the train.  This will put you at the left front of the train as it goes through the sweeping turn and most of the other elements.
