The park has installed two queues, one for FastLane and one for stand-by. There are speakers throughout both ueues playing three selections of techno music and an occasional prerecorded announcement about the ride. To be honest because the queue was empty for preview days I didn't get to spend much time listening to the announcement so I am not aware of what it says.
The majority of both queues is completely outside of the station building. The view from the queue is of X's lift approach and lift and the high fan turn as well as most of Viper's layout. In fact it is nice being so close to Viper's boomerang element. The majority of X's layout cannot be seen from the queue.
Once you get to the top of the ramps and actually into the station you pick your row and wait. Unfortunately it seems the park has STILL not learned a thing about station design. Once the back seat queue fills it prevents anyone else from filling other rows. To make matters worse because riders face backwards the last row LOOKS like the first row to unsuspecting riders.
Inside the cavernous station the same techno music plays and there are prerecorded pre-board announcements instructing riders on how to secure themselves and warning them about the opening airgates. Again even tho I heard the announcements numerous times I couldn't tell you exactly what they are.
Someone else might be able to give you more details but really, wouldn't you rather be surprised and discover it all for yourself??
