X rises skyward at Magic Mountain

The station track, turn into the lift, and the beginning of the lift have all been placed. It looks like there will be an unload section and a load section in the station, like Millennium Force.

Interesting support tower design. I do like the placement of some piece of return track going through it as well.

I agree. Very unique. I can't wait to try it!

Although I'll bet it's open well before September...

....yes, but that piece of track going through the support worries me. I'm sure they have all the clearance issues worked out, but, this sucker is going to be wide and the outside riders may be able to slap poles. (I'm sure they can't, but those picts make it look AWFULLY close....)

Yeah the track going through the support looks like it will come close, I tyhought that they were going to scrap the seperate load and unload stations though, I was suprised when I saw the pictures, Oh and does anyone have any new pics as of today? Just asking cause I am so anxious to see more construction pics!!
this ride looks awesome. does anyone know about when it is going to open?

i cant wait!!!
A few ride op's told me around September, but it seems to be going up very fast. So right now at this stage it is hard to tell. But DeJa Vu comes first.

You really can't go by anything ride ops say. I still think it will open in July...

I have also added a SFMM construction update to my site. It is a few days more recent. Check it out.

July? Don't you think that's a bit early?

Don't get me wrong, the sooner the better, but it's almost the end of May.
No, I don't think its a bit early :)
