Well insteed of Sunday, me and Mr.X decided to go to the mountain today (crowded, cept for X) We got outside at 1005, and they let us across the bridge at around 1040, well we got the very front, when u go in, and you turn to the right instead of going straight til u go to the ramp, we went to the right so we had to walk up the stairs (better choice, since the other side had 2 broken seats, which caused longer lines). We'll 1st time we only waited bout 10 mins, what a GREAT first ride. We decided to go on the 3rd row and waited for about 25 mins, the chain got LOUDER!. Than we decided to have lunch. Went back to 2nd row, would've been a 15 min wait, but the train before we got on got stuck up the lift hill, after 10 mins of fixing that we got on, wat a ROUGH time around, and i even banged my ear against the restraint, (I guess I should have put them more down) (you push down, than push them inward) We decided to go on 2 more times, 2nd, and 3rd row again, and it was OK, but thats because I had a headache. I think they got to make something so the transations are smoother, all in all the best part is a drop (which feels like an inversion), all the time we sat on the side when you have to walk up the stairs, (in the station you face Goliath, your on the right side) Which is the better side, and less of a line, since 1st timers think you have to go foward. I give it an 8.5 out of 10. The seats are HUGE, and have like a car seat headrest, and the restraints are a little odd, but there ok,(maybe put more pading were your shoulder blade touches the restraint, since you get airtime) Other than that all we went on was Flashback, and Goldrusher. Deja Vu-2.5hrs, Goliath-45mins, Riddlers-1hr, Batman-45mins, Colosos-didnt go by, Psyclone-45mins, Ninja-closed, Viper-45mins, Flashback-1 train wait(only 1 train working), Revolution-25mins, X-20-30 mins(cause of slow loading, I'd say maybe 700 per hour). All in All very CROWDED. I want to go on more rides, so I think Ime and Mr. X are going either Monday, or Wed, and we'll go on X some more. Well Im gone, lates
Oh my god this was the best ride! X rocks! Oh and sfmmrider, we went on "The Arrowhead Splashdown" and Goldrusher too.

I'm too lazy to put anything here....
I did write down Goldrusher smart guy, and I aint writing carp bout log rides/flat rides, but since its easy, all we went on was Arrowhead Splashdown, Goldrusher, Flashback (Weres the Asprin Machine?) and X, and Arrowhead Splashdown was a 10 min wait, and the jack a** made us sit 5 per boat
Why isn't anyone sitting towards the back of the train?
cdrpointcrazy4 - once you ride it you'll understand.
That is suprising that Psyclone was a 45 minute wait. That ride usually has such a short line.

yah because it only had a one train operation
the back is the place to be on X...
Great TR! God I can't wait to ride X!!!! Hopefully I get too this summer or at least during the next off season. I bet that first drop kicks ***!!!!!!!!

Six Flags Marine World..... Theme Parks taken to a whole new level.
Thank god SFMM held those season passholder preview days! I was able to get my fill with barely any lines... I've ridden it 43 times on three separate days.
The first day was the best. Ride once, exit ride, get immediately back on without missing a cycle, then do that again repeatedly all day, with the occasional 1 or 2 train wait. Quite a treat after going nuts for a year waiting for it to open!
One thing I noticed about X that no one has mentioned.... the ride op's look like they want to slit their wrists, so when you get there, be sure to flash them a smile! I think they could use it!

Can't this thing go any faster?
They do look very nervous and unsure don't they? Kinda like they're being asked to handle a nuclear bomb. At this point I think a 3-train operation is more likely on Deja Vu than X.

I have faith in X's ops! Its a new restraint technology that they have to get used to. Once they master how it works, and how the ride needs to be run, they will get faster. X is bit different than most of the other coasters as it requires such a large crew (4 at load, 4 at unload, 3 at controls). So maybe they need that team spirit going on. Remember Six Flags is good for putting only 2 people on a coaster.
Well i just hope the ride op's have thier thing together by the time i take my trip down there. I still realize that the lines will be x-tra long but as long as the ride op's have everything together and the kinks are worked out of the ride the lines should move fairly fast (I hope!). And hopfully by the time i go down there in Feb. they will have three train operation, but i doubt it cause i think the third train still isnt there. But hey, I'm not complaining!

When I mentioned the ride ops, I wasn't implying that they are incapable of loading fast, I was saying they look bored as hell. I was actually very surprised at how smoothly X ran all day. Most new rides, even 'regular' ones like Magnum stopped many times a day when it was new.
i'm sure once two trains start running the lines will be muuuuch quicker. And as for the third train... much of it is there scattered in pieces under the transfer table.
oooh that first drop.....
