Hello! Hey I heard that X-Flight has 2 station platforms. Is this true? How do they do that? Do they have the line split up somewhere? I heard that they are doing this for X and Batwing also. Can anyone confirm this? And lastly, is there anyone out there that has pictures from INSIDE the station platform for X-Flight? Bye.

Yes they do have 2 station platforms. I'm not sure how the line works, but i would think that the line would split before you get to the platform and you would exit in the middle. I dont have a picture but hpe this helped some.

I may be wrong, but isn't one station used for the exit, and one used for the entrance?

No...from what I've heard, you can enter the station from either side (you choose which side while waiting in line) and after the ride, both sides exit to the center. There is track leading into and out of the station that rotates 360 degrees, so that you will either enter from the left or the right of the station. That doesn't make any sense, I know, so I'll look for some pics to show you.

PGASFMW is right. The line splits before the station and the exit is in the middle. There is a piece of track that flips to either side so the trains can enter and leave the station on whichever side is free. It is one wide station unlike the one long station Millenium Force uses to exit riders before going to the loading platform. It will tremendously help in the capacity area once all three trains are operating, which shouldn't be long now.

Thanks, loriu! That makes it simpler to understand! I'll still try to find links to some good pics.

Yea, it's to bad Vekoma will never figure out how to get both stations to work at the same time. It would be really sweet to watch that thing work flawlessly, but it's Vekoma so that will never happen. Not to mention they have two rotating track pieces that can't jam or brake which would then cause peeps to get stuck on the brake run till they can manually turn the track. Also with 8 min load times it's not going to matter how many stations they have, the line is still going to be extremly slow.
(Negative Vekoma opinion comes from experience in X-FLIGHTS line this past Monday, Deja Vu accident at SFOG, and Stealth problems last year)

I have MANY station pictures, but they are not developed yet.
Within the next week I'll have pics of the station up.
