X-Flight Opening Day

Will X-Flight open on SFO's opening day or will it slowly open in the spring?

It was reported to open opening day May 4th. But they still haven't started construction yet, so it could open late.

With all the snow the past week or so it hard to see if footers have actually been poured yet.
Why did they wait so long to start building? Don't Stealth start in the fall? And yet X-Flight is longer.
I certainly hope that it opens on the parks opening day. If they were smart they would because if they dont then they are basically just turning away buisiness and most likely some of those people wont come back just to ride that.

Cp in 2002, get to the point.
I think that this coaster will be ready in time. It's not very tall or long. It's no B&M, but I think all the peices will come together soon.

A Green Machine is rising at SFO!

Stealth was a prototype so no one was sure if it would work or not. That is why it was built so early.

BKF didn't start going vertical until the end of January of 2000. And it went up quick with each passing week.

Don't worry. Steel coasters assemble quickly. They are probably waiting for the temperatures to warm up a little to start digging and pouring concrete.
SFO built four coasters and almost redid the entire park in some way last year, to build one coaster this year and have it ready should be an easy thing for them. It depends on weather. If you ask me they'll do whatever they can to have it operational May 4.

Yeah, the three big coasters were done, but the rest of the park was a mess. There were still places where the concrete had not been poured, Road Runner wasn't running, Boomtown was mostly non-functional... I think even the monorail was an incomplete circuit.

I think they should be able to handle one ride.
