X-Flight awesome/ capacity not

I waited in line for 2 hours for X-flight yesterday and I was amazed at how thrilling it was, but the capacity just plain sucked! The line wasn't really long either. Only one train was running. The other train was in the station and mechanics were no where to be found. My friend had a stopwatch and I timed it. It took 2:05 for the train to go all the way around the track and end up in the station were it started. Then it took over 2 and a half minutes for the new passengers to load and for the train to take off. This is ridiculus turn around time. They even had two stations, but only one was working.

The old "we don't have enough people to operate two stations" is crap because they had many people just standing around by the que. Also the landscape was the ugliest thing I ever saw, and no attempt to make it look better. Maybe it isn't the time to plant grass, but at least clear the litter. Also, the line was hot and there was little attempt to make it more comfortable. At least one person passed out in line. Can they please invest in some fans like MF or some covers like Mean Streak. Please it will make the ride a lot better. Has anyone else had problems with the X-Flight ques and wait? I know its a Six Flags park, but a little relief, please!

Batwing's que is covered. I don't know about x-flight though.speaking of batwing sfa is holding media day today and from what I saw they are only using one station only as well but with at least 2 trains.
I haven't had any problems with the wait for X Flight. Longest I've waited was about two hours but heck you sort of get used to waiting.

For some reason the blue train is having difficulties while the green train continues to perform well. They did use both stations recently so I know that's not the problem.

As far as the queue is concerned, a little shade would be nice. At least Six Flags does not put in endless rows of queue lines on their attractions.

I waited 15 minutes for X-Lax, and that was when the line started in the station. The landscaping was horrible, but that is a Geauga Lake carry over. The bad thing is that Sic Flags has even managed to ruin Sea World's landscaping which was beautiful.
As for the ride itself. The sensation was new, which made it exciting. However, I thought thay could have done more with the ride itself. The speed was below average, and the elements could have been tighter. That ride has a lot of potential.
As for the queues, they were trashed the day that I went, and the line wasn't even in the queues. If anyone else remembers Geauga, they will also remember that Geauga wasn't the cleanest place on the earth.

I have a quick question, Have you ever worked as a ride opp? My GUESS is no, because if you did you would realize how hard staffing a park (with many diffrient divisions) really is. Also new rides don't come perfect, most have bugs. Lagoon's new ride "Cliffhanger" (A Mondel Splashover) Just recently opened and in the beginning they could only run it at 1/3 the speed it's sposed to be able to run at. But they evuntuly got the bugs worked out and it runs fine now. These things take time, just relax and they should have it up to speed within the season. And those people that were just "standing around" by the que were probaly doing crowd control, ensuring that people weren't line jumping and such.

This 2nd generation of Flying Dutchman are going to have just as many problems as Stealth, if not more because of the duel station and self-reclining trains. They had both stations working the first weekend in June and a full queue was about an hour long. Look at the bright side. At least it is running. Look at the even brighter side. Villain is running great so far this year.
X-Flight isn't going anywhere soon.

I think X Flight is an extraordinary ride. I moved it up to my top 3 coasters. Extremely thrilling !
the best part it was a comfortable ride, smooth as silk. yeah it's not tweaked to 100% but give it time. I'm sure we'll see these same posts for batwing soon too. But SFWOA Does need to do something about cooling guests off in the queue line not just for this phenomenal coaster but BKF as well

That really doesn't matter. It's not the customer's problem. Last year I found that CP, PKI, BGW and PKD has an adequate crew for every ride. If this particular park doesn't, that's a management problem, not ours.

Besides, since when does a ride op act as an HR representative?

Great point Jeff. Personally, I always got sick of the guest blaming ride ops for the mechanical problems a ride may have.
Wouldn't it be smart to close a little ride or coaster like Mind Eraser or Double Loop for the day and get more ops for X-Flight? Isn't that the obvious thing to do? I agree with what Jeff said. But if one line is 2 hours long(X-Flight) and other is 10 minutes or less, then they should know what the logical thing to do is. Why do I have to be smarter than a professional? Or do I just care more?
What about the people that would like to ride the smaller ride. Believe it or not, those people do exist. When operating a park you have to think about all people, not just the people that want to ride the newest coaster you have. They pay just as much money as us coaster fanatics.
Well, its Clear that X-Flight is definatly having a lot of problems at the moment.
Now I went to the Park on 8th and June 9th, On June 8th, Things looked good, 2 Stations being used and 2 Train Running, but later in in the day, X-Flight was down to 1 station and 1 Train, It was really bad and dispatch times were every 4-5 mins and the queue reached about 1hr 30-2hrs.

On June 9th, Once again, Things looked great, both stations being used, and once again 2 Trains, I go back later in the day and again 1 Station is being used, 1 train being used and the same queue times, They were trying to fix the second train, but at about 5.30, they had problems with both trains and X-Flight was closed for the rest of the day.
Also something worries me about the 3rd train they have, I asked a member of staff why they were not running the 3rd Train, and he said They cant actually run it because they were not allowed too(For what reason, I dont know) However come later this year when dispatch times improve, I am sure they will get it out, It could be because of the bad 4-5 mins dispatch times and they are worried people will be waiting ages on that Break Run for a station to clear???
I agree that the ride is new, and there is bound to be a few bugs here and there etc but surely not this many problems?????? I am now worried that they rushed X-Flight too much, and this is what is causeing all these problems, I have seen it with a few coasters(Oblivion especially) I would so much rather they took their time when building Coasters, than having to rush building it and ending up with a BUG RIDDEN Coaster

No Dought, that X-Flight will soon be fully up and running with no problems and even with that third train running, but with July and August(SFWOA busiest months coming up soon) SFWOA better sort out those problems FAST otherwise they will simply find the longest line in the park in July and August will not be on X-Flight but at the Customer Service Desk instead(Trust me, I think it will happen)
