X-Flight: Another Delay?

I really hope X-Flight will be open tomarrow but I sincerely doubt it since they still don't have trained people. But then again, if they delay it for a second time, the GP will get very mad and give the park a bad name. Also, if nobody is trained to operate it, who was running it for the commercial shoots!?
Why wouldn't it be open? They've tested it enough and it works with people riding it. Who cares about the transfer track, and the reclining on the lift. I want to ride it tommorrow. I think that the reclining on the lift is just a waste, it will cause so many problems.
yes, but I've heard that they haven't trained any employees to run it. Maybe they will have the construction workers run it 'till they train the workers but don't the ride ops just basically have to push a button and the computer does the rest? Anyways, hope you're right, goin out there today so we'll see!

Too late! It's already named "Six Flags".
EXCELLENT, LIFTHILL310...that is the BEST Thing I have heard all year....Bonus points for you!!!

mikey :)
Cedar Point..the BEST Amusement Park...THREE YEARS IN A ROW :)

Sad thing is, that's the truth, everyone I know thinks of SFWoA as a trashy park with some nice rides scattered throughout it. I hope they can change that. But it seems as though they're not really trying this year.
Boy you guys are really harsh. I see nobody's saying the same things about Kennywood, yet they're having the same problems. And not only is there new ride not been operational until today, but the Thunderbolt is also not operational because of the new ride. And let everyone remember Paramount King's Dominion in 98'. Volcano the Blast Coaster didn't open until the middle of August. And you guys are complaining about a couple of weeks. Whiners all! Remeber how long it took Test Track at Epcot to open? I don't believe either one of those parks were bad mouthed. And until you understand what it takes to design, build, and operate a multi-million dollar hi-tech ride, then you can complain. *** This post was edited by Intamin Fan on 5/19/2001. ***
SFO was in no way trashy , but when the renamed it Worl of Adenture ohh i hate that name, why not SFGL Six Flags Geuga Lake. And dont be harsh on the employes cuase they are excellent compared to MM employes. The villian had a turn around rate last year of about 2:00 flat i believe, and thats why u never had to wait more than fifteen minutes. SUE has an excellent crew too they had the thing going in about 3:00 minutes, and they actually pulled on my restraint and seat belt, almost made me cry sniff sniff

the return of Intaminrocks
Ride ops were not running the ride for the commercial shoot. Vekoma employees or other Six Flags empolyees were running it. There are still Vekoma engineers there. Only one car is set to run so far, they are still setting the other two up. In my opinion, as well as others that were there for the commercial shoot, it's not ready to be open to the GP yet. They will complain if it's not open, but if it was open and not operating up to speed, they would complain even more.

Thank you for riding America's Roller Coast
They were starting to train the ride ops later in the day on 5/17.
I am making bets that X-Flight WILL NOT be open by Memorial Day unless they work on eveything for 8-10 hours a day.
