X completes its first test run at Magic Mountain

What an amazing sight it was to watch the massive X train barrel through the course. The train kept a very good speed throughout the entire ride and made it through each element with ease. It actually looked like it may have gone through the second Raven Turn a little too fast I think, but Arrow was prepared for that as there are brackets on the track to add a trim before the Raven Turn.

But seriously, it's almost hard to imagine this thing actually coming to be. I can't wait for the first daytime shots. Think someone could take a video clip?
Let me take this moment to say that, as of right now, I'll most likely be casting a vote for Twisted Rails as Coaster Site of the Year in the upcoming Coasters' Choice Awards. Great job!

i cant get to X because i live in VA, but it sure looks worth the ride. my dad said he would take me to MM but i would have to take the trip on his motorcycle-crazy i think. i know it would be worth it, but i dont have the time anyway. but X does look awesome. its a master piece. only true coaster fans notice that coasters are the real works of art in this world!

I can't wait! If it opens on a school day, I'll ditch and drive to Valencia, it'a only a 35 minute drive from my school. My guess is on Labor Day or last week of August.

First off, I have to agree with Lynch. Twisted Rails is a killer site, and I visit it daily hoping to get another sneak at the progress of X. I will be flying to SoCal the second I hear of its opening! In fact, I am MUCH more excited about X than I ever was awaiting Millennium Force. I am not sure why...perhaps it is so radical? Who cares? Bring it on!
