X and Deja Vu?

Has there been any info released on any of the openings? I mean any official word?

It is official that Deja Vu will be opening Saturday, August 25th. An official opening date for X is yet to be set and announced.

Don't worry about X. It's testing right now and should be open by the end of September or maybe before the end of the month (September).

I bet Deja Vu doesnt open. I could just see it  - News- several people have died and some are in critical condition from riding Deja Vu at SFMM.

Its going to open and nobody is going to die riding it.  Employees have already ridden it so its working fine.

Employees have ridden Deja Vu. Did they die? No! The ride will open. Why do you have to be so negative with the ride? It's finally going to open. Why aren't you excited? I am!
I'm going to Magic Mountain in December. If all goes well with the ride, I'll be in line for the "green giant."

Well I have to say that I'm in shock. So now IF I can actually make it to CA in time for X's media day/opening weekend, I'll be able to ride Deja Vu while I'm there too? This is too freaking awesome! Now, if someone would just deliver a truckload of money to my door, so I'll be able to go for sure...

Okay, here's what I don't get

Deja Vu is a highly anticipated ride, no doubt about that. If the opening date is official, and employees have really been testing it, then why hasn't it made the front page of coasterbuzz.com yet?

Agreed. The mods have been closing topics like these for weeks, saying to keep an eye on the news section for an opening date. Why am I hearing about this in a forum?  Someone hasnt been keeping their promises.....

I was asking for official word from Magic Mountain itself.  I am going to the mountain labor day weekend. I just want to get myself prepared for any good news or bad news.

I really don't understand why we can't just wait until Friday, and *everyone* will know for sure. It's 4 days away, it that so difficult?

Why does everbody have to think so negitive about this whole situation?  All I was asking, was if anbody heard official word.  How difficult is that?

For the person who is saying that riders will die from riding Deja Vu....I just don't get it.  I thought being a fan of coasters is about appreciating them and enjoying them.  And you say that the riders are gonna die the first day it opens?  Why you are u so negative?
