"X" - CoasterBuzz

Hi, I'm going to be some traveling this thursday for about a week and a half to go to Six Flags Magic Mountain and Knotts Berry Farm. Now the day I get down there I'm going to Knotts and that is the opening of Xcelerator. I'm going to be staying there for about 4 days. Then for the other 5 I'll be going to Magic Mountain. Has X been open recently, or has it been down? I know I've heard over and over about the train that they are fixing but, are they still running the one train? Or do they not bother to run the ride. I hope that it is open since I'm traveling over alot of states to get to it. If it's not I guess it's just bad luck. At least I'll be able to enjoy the rest of the park. Well if somebody knows anything about the ride's opening or if it's been opened please respond back, Thanks.

x is more likely to be open than dejavu. at least you are going 5 days because you have a good chance of both of them being open on any of those given days.

Just so you know, Xcelerator will NOT be open this week; Xcelerator was delayed.
About X, who knows if it will be open, X should be open, however, it has had incredible amounts of downtime.

Six Flags Magic Mountain Xtreme Guide

X was only running 1 train Saturday as far as I could tell, and Deja Vu was closed on Saturday.

I didn't know about Xcelerator, Wow, I hope, wish that it will open. I'm there Thursday the 6th until the 9th. SO,I doubt it will be opened. Very intresting. This trip is going down low for me. Oh-well. Thanks for the info.

xcelerator's producer, intamin, says the ride will open on or before june 15th. this hasn't been confirmed by knotts, though, except on the auction website. the PR representatives still will tell you thursday.

Xcelerator is going to open June 20.

You seem to be clueless. Déjà Vu is running a lot more than X is at this time. Don't assume just because the SFoG and SFGAm don't function that this one doesn't. The SFMM DV is an entirely different story.

Yes, something happened. No one's talking very much, but X is definitely down.

And just what happened? But since you have five days, I think it is very likely that you will get to ride it once. Unless it goes down again. But I wouldn't believe anyone about what is wrong with X, there are so many stupid people out there posting complete nonsense that it is hard to seperate the truth from lies.

From reliable sources, I expect "X" to be down the rest of the year. I hope the sources are wrong, but I wouldn't bet on riding it any time soon.

One thing that might intrigue you is that X is so broken that Six Flags took it off their website and are only promoting Deja Vu at Magic Mountain.
