"X"

How is "X" doing? Is it running 2 trains, any new info?

From what I've heard it has been running two trains pretty regularly, although I've also heard that it is starting to get a little rough in the outside seats. (See Elissa's SFMM TR)

I didn't notice as much of a difference from the inside to the outside seats as I did from front-toback of the train....the LAST ride I took was pretty rough, glad all my other rides were on the "far end"...

bill, saying Schilke should have had them put signs on the train designating "Front" and "Back"...;)

So Gator, are you saying I should try for front or back for a smoothe ride?

Front was smooth when I rode in February. Back was sorta rough when I rode in April, but the back was mega intense. Back seat's the best ride for me. Both my rides were in the outside seat, too.

My suggestion is to go as far away from the lockers as possible....the rides I got in those seats were great (heck, they were ALL great rides). But when I got on the "near end", closest to the lockers, I thought THAT ride was pretty bumpy. Even though the first drop was TERRIFYING from that row, the rest of the ride was almost *jarring*. Regardless, you WILL love the ride, and I'm pretty confident saying you will leave SFMM with a new #1....and the terms "front" and "back" will be rendered obsolete....

bill, even MORE confident that Donny will leave SFMM saying "this path is disgusting"....;)

Thanks, guys I appreciate it, and Gator is the Park really that dirty? (God I hope not)

The only thing I really worry about is bad compacity at the park, and the fact that I still don't know what time Knotts opens on Nov 3rd but hey it's vacation in Cali so how can I be in a bad mood.

Sean-still wondering why he hasn't got it together and called Knotts to see when they're open that sunday !!

Well SFMM has been doing alot of cleaning, painting, power washing the ques/ paths(Batman TR que/path looks great you can see the paths and the stairs now lol) and or general impovements to the park. The X area was just attacked by guest some terrible, the area was so clean and nice, then the slobs were let in. I have never seen so much gum coated on a path in my life uck........hopefuly SFMM has gotten to that area of the park

Also I have not found my favorite ride on earth so far to be all that rough or bumpy. X is a very very intense ride from start to finish it's like Batman TR on METH, and like Moosh and others have said that back seat ride (cloest to lockers) is the ride of you life. The front is great too but the intensity of the back is 10 fold compared with the front imo, After being whiped over that first drop in the backseat I got off the ride saying I JUST SAW GOD........and he told me "Boy go clean yourself up" ...........you know why he said that , b/c X had scared the shhhhhht outta me lmao

The last time I rode X which was last month, it was pretty smooth. Felt like it did when I rode it back in January. I rode in the 2nd row outside and the 3rd row inside.

Sounds good guys, hopefully everything is up to par on November 2nd. Since I am going on a Saturday (in November) is attendance going to be at a max? ...... Just wondering how much attendance dies down in Cali during the early winter months!

All I can say is to give it a chance, no matter what anyone has said. There is no better opinon than your own, and I was very close to renting a car and driving the 4 hours from Vegas on Monday to ride it......all because I couldn't back in July!
