Wyandot Lake Auction Inspection, Tonight 4-6PM

So the first inspection for the Wyandot Lake auction by Norton is this evening from 4-6 PM. Anyone going?

I plan to drop by for a while during that period to take a look around and get some final photos of the place before it turns into part of the Zoo.

Second inspection is tomorrow at 8AM with the auction starting at 10AM or 10:30AM.

There has been some misinformation flying around that the carousel in the sale is the one that the Gooding family left the city. It is not, it's a pieced together mess that SF brought in after the city pulled the Mangels/Illions machine out of the park.
Yeah, Wyandot's carousel is pretty bad. Isn't the Mgels/Illions machine the one that's at the Zoo now, restored?
Don: Yes, that is correct.

When this is all over, the Zoo will have the Mangels-Illions carousel, the Allen/PTC coaster, the Tilt, the Scrambler, the waterpark playhouse, and the newest triple-tube slide as the anchors around which to build the new amusement park.

I didn't make it to the inspection tonight, but I'm planning to attend the auction tomorrow.

I'd loved to go. In fact i tried getting out of work early and driving the 2 1/2 hours there but couldn't swing it.
I'd love to buy one of the many 6Flag garbage cans. It'd be great for collecting the dog-dirt in my yard.

They don't have Six Flags garbage cans. Wyandot's cans are completely unmarked.
^Wow, that's some seriously red-neckin', low-ballin' treatment even for a 6FLags park. Probably had Dollar General pricetags on the botton.

You think thats bad? Their benches were OLD battered up wood benches that look 50 years old.
Wyandot's benches were fine. This beauty from Guntown Mountain is a different story.
Video report from the auction is now alive on my site.
