www.vekoma.com update !

It's perhaps the most filled coaster company website we have ever seen. The latest update includes:

news:
- new pictures of their new 'big SLC' at Suzhou
- new pictures of both new SFC's at Paramount and Dreamworld
- new pictures of a Rollerskater in France
- new pictures of a Boomerang in Saudi-Arabia

rides:
- blueprints (layout + 3d view) of every ride
- a video of every ride (including the full onride of Merlin's Magic Castle at Six Flags Holland)
- 2 new rides introduced: normal trains for the Hammerhead Stall and a family version of the SLC

Wow. That's pretty cool. My question is, what are you doing visiting the Vekoma Web site?!

The site loads a little slow. It may just be the movie that was loading on the same page, but things just seemed kinda slow. That's pretty cool that they finally updated.

How in the world is this spam? It's not his site, he's just giving us information of a manufacturer's official site.

I agree the guy is just telling us updates of Vekoma's website what's wrong with that? I mean its a coaster company for god sakes.

Cant there be a thread, without someone complaining/whining about something. There is nothing wrong with him posting a link to a coaster manifactuer(sp) . After all this is a coaster forum.......go figure.

World Class website with world class speed = world class company producing world class products.

I dunno but when I try to download the videos it never works and I have DSL. Did this happen to anyone else? How can I fix it?

Well I didnt download a video, but I have a Cable Modem(comcast) and the pictures took forever to load. I dont know what the problem is but it was very slow.

I noticed that they say the Flying Dutchman has a 7 car train with 28 people. Unless Stealth can hold 28 people in each of its trains, they must have gotten their facts messed up.

What I saw that I never knew existed , is a tilt coaster , which they said is located at Discovery World in Twain , just by the look of it is amazing how its possible , I wonder if this is a new idea from Vekoma

CoastaKing -- the internet is a vast place, filled with all sorts of congestion points. Just because you have a cable modem or other fast first hop, doesn't guarantee fast connections to distant sites. (My dayjob deals with this very issue, in fact).

Yes it's rather slow, the site is on a rather slow server ánd many people are visiting it this weekend.

I also don't see what's wrong with putting this update on Coasterbuzz.
Sometimes I wonder who is interested in news like 'nearly complete GR8 SK8, almost complete Zonga, etc. etc.'
Yet a topic with Vekoma unveiling a new coaster type is not good ?
