While in Pittsburgh this weekend, I saw an advertisement for WTAE (tv station) day at Kennywood, which is this Thursday, 7/12. General admission is free, and ride all day is only $15.95. I would imagine the park will be slammed if the weather is good, so you might want to reschedule your trip if you're from out of town.

Batwing-Bow Down
The thunderbolt crashed on WTAE day too a couple years ago.
Yeah, sort of ironic. Actually, I believe one of the people who worked at WTAE was on the Thunderbolt at the time of the "crash." One of the guys working the brakes didn't pull the brake so the car didn't stop in the station, and instead bumped into the car that was loading passengers.
Kinda happy my KW day got rescheduled till august... i can wait another month to ride the PR
