Jeff's avatar Come on, did anyone really think that an elderly straight guy could tear it up like that?

DawgByte II's avatar No... I thought it was a chick...

But still, this kind of ruins the mystery, knowing that the secret is out now... what will they be using as a marketing campaign for 2006? 2004 & 2005 were great because of Mr. Six & the past couple years prior were even pretty sweet because of the music artists using footage of the park & them was catchy (especially the one song by Simple Plan).

Will Six Flags stick to a universal marketing campaign for all parks, or try to keep each one individual? Obviously noone really knows until the season rolls out... but so far, it seems to be a mystery that's anyone's guess...

CPLady's avatar Maybe it's my age, but I frankly found Mr. Six to be one of the more annoying ad campaigns. But then again, I'm sure Six Flags wasn't targeting my age group with Mr Six and the music which was definitely geared to a much younger crowd.

And Jeff...you'd be surprised at the number of old farts who could "tear it up like that".

:( Now that we know his secret identity, a lot of his appeal may be lost.

Danny Teeson is much sexier though.

hey, maybe Six Flags doesn't have to change the advertising campaign after all. So Snyder didn't like the "perverted old man" persona, but how about a cutting edge cool, slick, sophisticated studly young dancer doing the same moves to the same tunes?

Well, not exactly like THAT, CPLady. But my niece and I did have our own Venga-dance that one or the other of us would start spontaneously at the goofiest times.

I wonder why SF remains so close-lipped about it. You'd think now that they dropped the campaign, they'd just reveal everything. If for no other reason but to spoil the fun for everyone else trying to find out Mr. Six's real identity.

Maybe their new campaign will be to pack the bus with all their corporate and marketing partners? Oh yeah, and show off a bathroom with cheerful attendant in place.

I just heard this was a hoax from a reliable source. That's what we get for believing what we read on the internet.
