Wow, people have already ridden...

Planning a possible stop at King's Dominion next week, I brought up the Park page here at CoasterBuzz to see what coasters they have.

I noticed that HyperSonic XLC is already listed. Curious, I decided see what the stats are listed as.

And notice that 8 people have already listed it in their track records.

Neat trick! Can I list Phantom's Revenge yet? ;)

Possibly they were lucky enough to attend the ACE gathering/Media unveiling at S&S in Utah last year on October 19th. Although I still wouldn't count that since this isn't the same ride(taller) and PKD will be slightly longer with a few more elements.

People are just stupid and think that the track record is coasters that they like or something, not ridden coasters. It would be so much better if every just put coasters they've ridden. Riding a clone is stupid, since I could then put S:ROS SFA on my list, but I haven't ridden it, so I wouldn't *** This post was edited by Jman on 8/24/2000. ***

Hey, I added that one to my list, and I only made it up the first 140 feet. ;)

That really sucks Jeff. Was that the first or second chain break???? Too bad you didn't make it up the other 60 ft.

I'd say that counts, Jeff -- you got on the ride, and you had quite an experience ;)

It was the first break. Steph and I were among the few who weren't freaking out. If you search the TR secion by date, look around early June and you'll find it.

That is a long way down to walk, didn't think it would take so long, but the rise on the stairs is not standard. No wonder the employees were all out of breath coming up!

Well of course they were out of breath, they just walked up over ten flights of stairs, I'd be dog tired too. I like Jeff have listed a coaster that I didnt make it all the way through. When I got on the River King Mine Train at (then) SF over Mid-America, it stopped on the second lift. I was very scared (I was also very 9). But hey, I rode some of it so it counts in my book. (one day I'll ride the rest of it. Maybe next year...)
