Would Twister II be better if...

It wasn't created to fill the hole left by Mr. Twister. I was riding it yesterday and it seemed to me as if it was a "rough and tumble" coaster of years past. Because after the first drop the ride seems pretty ruthless as to the condition of the rider's comfort.
What if the ride was for a completly new park in another part of the country and wasn't sopposed to have anything to do with the original design. I think that if this wasn't meant to actually be better than one of the greatest woodies ever than it wouldn't be quite so hated by entusiests and the general public alike.
What do yous guys and girls think about this?
Those who I've talked to that hadn't ridden the original Mr. Twister still strongly disliked it. Even non-enthusiasts just said it plain wasn't fun. I haven't ridden it. If I was in Denver I'd definately go, but, I'm not in any hurry.

I never had the chance to ride Mr Twister, and, like Peabody mentioned, Twister II still wasn't enjoyable. I'm sorry to hear that it's no smoother this year. I'm planning on heading to Elitch's this weekend, but I sure wish there was something new there to ride...
I rode Twister II a few years ago and really didn't like it. It was rough in not a soo good way. (And I LOVE the Boss' intensity and roughness). It just seemed kinda strange in a bad way. The drops were even lame, and seemed a little 'horizontal' even. That whole park left me with a bad taste. I was there no more than an hour.
