First of all, I don't think they could even if they wanted to. Because:
-the park would be outrageously expensive with its improvements; only a massive company could buy it. -the park would lose its Six Flags name. Would a buyer really want to be responsible for generating buzz over a new name?
Besides that, do you think it'll ever happen? Do you think Six Flags will ever get tired of taking care of some of its neglected parks, like Astroworld or Elitch Gardens?
If Six Flags wants to maximize profits, they would never sell a park they own. I'm pretty sure they don't want Cedar Fair getting money for a park they lost...

The way Six Flags is trying to generate buzz over the 'new' Sea Life Park in Ohio...?
Dropping the 6F branding wouln't be that big of a deal if it was a park like MM, WoA, EG, etc. They're referred to by the "other" names anyhow. The problem parks would be, of course, 6FoT, 6FA, 6FoG...
That being said, for a company that values expansion above all else, I seriously doubt they'd ever sell a park.
