Hmmm.....Corkscrew and MF have to stack at least one train, two on MF.
Are you sure about that? Can someone verify about MF?

Do you know for sure they will have one op checking every 10 seats? Because I don't. ***
i know this because unlike PKI's version, around the ride there are those buttons the opts have to press for the ride to go. There are a total of 5 of them, number 1-10, 11-20..... So since this is CP and they are all about capacity, i dont see how u can say they are getting 'cheap', weve seen almost 100 million dollars put into the resort since 2000
Corkscrew will always stack one with three trains, so will Magnum and I think Mean Strak too. Stacking shouldn't happen on Gemini as it only has two trains per side and it's a pretty long ride.
jar, I didn't notice anyone pushing those buttons when I was there. I really hope you are right and we do see more staffing on that ride. But I think if it was planned, it would have happened already. I believe those buttons release seats in sections of 10. I don't believe they are "enable" buttons as you indicated.
As for CP being cheap, I'm not talking about buying new rides. I'm talking about running the park - little things such as staffing, signage, lockers - the infrastructure you need to support the hoards of guests that show up to ride your new rides. Trust me - they are cheap. So cheap that it can be difficult to get soap so you can clean your ride. And it's gotten worse over the past few years. I'm hoping it improves with the new GM. *** Edited 5/22/2005 6:31:35 PM UTC by MDOmnis***

Did anyone else catch the big mess up with the freeway time for dragster? they posted a sign at the booth that it opened at 11:00 am but it wasn't supposed to be open until 2pm, so by 11:00am there was a line of like 500 people for freeway passes that they weren't ready to hand out until 2pm. They said they would get someone there as soon as they could to hand out stamps but it wasn't until almost 12:30pm that they starting handed them out. Because of the 3 hour wait it was still worth it, but man c'mon I didn't know it took a degree to hand out a stamp.
All in all I had a good trip otherwise... totals for 2 1/2 days... MF-9 laps, TTD-4 laps, maXair-10 spin cycles, Magnum-10 laps, Raptor-6 laps, and all the others. Noticed some differences in the lengths of the MF belts, got all 5 fingers slack on 1 belt and had to fight for 2 fingers on another.
Mesos thinkin I can get 11 straight rides on Raven in about 45 minutes somedays.
Chuck, who is also thinking it was a very nice day and the weather has been crappy for the most part this spring.

. . . There were obviously many people there from down south; I guess the new nation wide campaigns are working
Hey, I knew I saw a commercial the other night. Cedar Point trying to blow up, huh? I have never seen them market like this.
got to the park at 10:00 am
Got in line for season pass which ended up being a two hour wait. First ride I hit was maxair. The line was all the way to the end of the kiddie bumper cars. It only took 40 Minutes, Do not be alarmed if the lineis out of the queve the ride gets 50 people out every two minutes, great loading by the crew. Then I headed to Magnum. I got the ejector seat and it was an awesome ride. The paint looks amazing and the crew was like clock work they had every train leaving the station at the same time. Great Job. I thne proceeded to hit the paddle wheel to check out the mysterous mouynds of durt. I also noticed that some trees have been knocked downand there was a make shift road are cut out of the trees. I don't know what is going on there I will just wait and see. Next up was gemini. Its line streched all the way into the mid way. I could see that only one line to the back of the train was going up. I decided to ride when i get back there all the queve lines are full for only one side of the ride. I then head to gt some Custard with my dad. We then decide to leave the park because I had an obligations I had to go to. Great day
Max Air 10/10 awesome!
Magnum 9/10 Great crew
Gemini 9/10 For getting everyone on the ride in about 20 minutes.
Paddle wheel 10/10 The most awesome ride I have ver rode it kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time, Wow. ( Sarcastic)
I left around 3 and it was a great day. The parkin lkot was full on the right side with cars and the left with busses. It was band day and medical health familuy day.
P.S sorry there were no pictures next time I will take my new camra.
TTD was built, TTD was broke, TTD is alive.

Uh, Dave? He did say something in the back ground of Ep. III.Mesa So Sorry. ;)
Well, if this is true, it's news to me. Must've been because when he appeared on screen, the entire theatre cascaded his brief 4-second cameo with a shower of boos, so if he said anything, it missed me. That and it was 2:30am and I was damn tired, so I may have just missed it because of that.
And if both those excuses fail, I blame it on my mind not wanting to hear him talk in the first place. ;)

Too bad you didn't go on Sunday instead. My son went and said the line for MF was short in the afternoon...no longer than the freeway merge point.
It appears the leftover crowds from Saturday cleared out by mid afternoon once it began raining off and on and had 10-15 minute waits or less on everything but TTD
I'd rather die living than live like I'm dead

i know that once the point is fully staffed, they will have one opp checking every 10 seats on maXair, hopefully that will move that line a bit.
Nope. Two operators will each be checking all 50 seats throughout the entire summer.
