I ate a turkey leg, mashed potatoes and corn on the cob then went on Goliath, nothing!!! Don't eat greasy foods though, or drink too much water, those tend to act as lubricants for things to slide back up the first digestive drop! :)

The worst thing to eat before riding is nothing at all! I cannot stand doing anything if I have an empty stomach, it makes me feel sick. I could eat anything and be fine on a coaster, but I couldn't eat nothing for the past 4 hours and go on a coaster.

Hey, SFGAm managment, can I buy a couple cages of Sky Whirl?

A friend of mine got sick after 4 consecutive "spins" on Montu - he had the frozen lemonade. But how many parks will let you re-ride without getting off? I've NEVER thrown up after coastering, but I REFUSE to go on teacups or rotors.

I'm with TrBiggar, if I get on a coaster with an empty stomach I am in a world of hurt, all that stomach acid stirred up with nothing to slow it down!! The Weekend after the 4th my Brother and I went to PKI, Holiday World and SFKK; by the time I rode Thunder Road, with nothing in my stomach since a McD's bagel Sandwich 5 hrs earlier, I thought I would die.

About ten dollars. It was closing weekend at Fright Fest and they were really trying to get rid of stuff-- and some of the stuff my friend bought because he was going to do it to (like the chicken strip and some of the fries) and couldnt even finish eating them, let alone ride the rides.

It depends how hard of a stomach you have.
My cousins and I had a lobster feast in Florida then when back to IOA and rode the hulk like 3times in a row. So it depends on how you are I think

TrBiggar, you couldn't be more right there, on an empty stomach it is just plain flat out painful to be on a coaster, but of course, if you throw up hard enough, that's plenty painful too.

I'd say the worst thing to eat would have to be several boxes of Gobstoppers, which is what my friend did once right before riding Whizzer @ SFGAm and then threw up all over the place.

Well. I had 2 eggs,3 pancakes and 2 sausage patties yesterday when we stopped off for breakfast on the way to PKD and it didn't make me feel sick one bit.One of my friends however did get sick at the end of the day.I guess that's what you get when you eat all that junk food before riding a whole bunch of coasters.

I have no problem getting sick on coasters, U ate all that good food they have at october(sp?) fest at BGW and rode lochness and alpenghest right after wards with no trouble, anything else that spins will make me sick.

Taco Hell would be the worst, anything from there. Of course now I have grown up and learned that Taco Hell makes nothing that is considered edible by human standards.

Otherwise I only have trouble when I do not eating anything.

Oh and to the "cheap beer" idea, did you know that many craft beers, and other more expensive quality beers have higher alcohol content and are going to have the same if not worse affect on your stomach. Cheap beer just tastes nasty and gives you a worse hangover.
