Worlds tallest inversion!! (fact)

Okay listen up, the worlds tallest inversion is not made by B&M, but by Intamin. Guess what? It is a inverted coaster, called Volcano at Paramount Kings Dominion in Virginia. It has a immelman, that stands 155ft. It is also the highest point in the coaster. Want to know how it gets that high, it is a LIM coaster And if you post a reply, don't give me any crap about it not being a loop or how big the eye of the inversion is. A inversion is a inversion, what makes a loop so different.
While if you think 125(?)degress is up side down(I do) then MF at CP has the tallest. *** This post was edited by Andrew on 6/10/2000. ***

Good call, Limwarrior! I finally got to ride it last weekend and I never considered it. That's quite an insane climb in to that inversion!

I still think MF's first turn at 168 feet and 122 degrees is a loop, but Cedar Point's marketing folk apparently prefer to call it the "steepest non-inverted turn."

Someday soon, I hope to see a "real" inversion on a Hyper/Giga. Overbankes are fun, but not a 360 degrees therefore not an inversion. 33 days untill the Force is with me.

Gotta ride 'em all!
whats the highest LOOP in the world?
anyone know?
The VIPER at SIX FLAGS MAGIC MOUNTAIN i think its between 140'-145'.
Of all the world's coasters, I wonder which loop is the highest above sea level, not just the ground. It might even be in another country, South America perhaps? Where's my coaster stats book when I need it?
Whats the largest loop in the world, diameter wise?

What's life if you never get to the Point?
Biggest diameter = BKF at SFO first loop
highest inversion(size omitted) = Volcano
2nd in that category is Viper at SFMM

DONE close this thread! there is the truth

Truth according to who? What does "size omitted" mean? It's interesting that I've never seen any marketing statement's from SFO regarding Batman's vertical loop.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you're all wrong. Superman Krypton Coaster holds this record. It's a little known fact, but after diving down the unique twisting drop, it climbs into a 160 foot loop. Yep, 160 feet. It's not a fast loop, mind you, you get some good hang time in the mid of it, but that is the world's tallest/largest inversion.
By the way Jeff I agree MF has the tallest point where you go "upside down" ;) but im just being technical here.
On Thrillride they say its only 114ft. tall, but I'll believe you before them ;)

Superman Krypton Coaster is 168ft. tall at it's highest point. The first loop is less than 160ft., a lot less.

If there is a coaster with a 160ft. 360 loop, I'm either there or in route. ;)
Not sure about BKF
But Kraken has to be somewhere close to 130-140 ft
tall loop.

#1 Steel-Incredible Hulk
#1 Wood--Timber Wolf
Well it's safe to say that floorless coasters have the largest loops.

No, SKC could barely clear ( its whould go at 2 mph at the top! ) a 150 feet loop with no friction or air resistance. How could its clear a 160 feet loop? SKC loop is around 140 feet tall. BKF is a bit smaller.
I think Montu has the largest inverted loop. Is that right or is it Alpengeist? I dunno. Anyway, Kumba's loop is pretty big (I know its not the largest) and Kraken's looks to be massive...
