I can' believe somebody flew all that way and X-Flight wasn't even open! Terrible.

the site is exactly right on about everything in the review, sfwoa is a terrible park and I hope six flags doesnt ruin the wild life side of the park as well.
Wow, you really dislike the park, huh? As a SFWoA visitor, I must say I have been disappointed as well quite a few times, but I've also been very pleased on some days. Either way, I could've really done without the disappointed visits.. but I guess every visit to an amusement park can't be perfect!

That sinks that you were the next to get on the ride and it broke down, and then didn't re-open.

Current Favorite Coasters:

I've never been there, but with all the bad reviews I've been hearing, I don't think I want to go.

"We hope you enjoyed your ride on Top Gun. Please exit to your left and we hope you enjoy the rest of your day here at Paramount's Kings Island."
I haven't been there but why does "everyone" dislike the park. SDWoA coasters:

Floorless
Impulse
Flying Dutchman
Boomerang
SLC
Wood

How can you not like the park with those types of coasters?

I don't think the problem is with the coasters - just the way they are operated (not not operated as the case often is).

Although overall, I enjoy going there and have been there a few times this year, I agree that the parking is ludicrously expensive, the midways get crowded easily, every time some coaster ride was closed, one train does frequently only operate on the main rides which creates longer lines, the litter is annoying but that is as much the patrons fault as it is the workers and at least the bathrooms weren't as repulsive as one at Conneaut's, the fast pass is just idiotic, but I do think this park has future potential if they extend the monorail, add the hyper coaster, add a dark ride, and correct the problems outlined above.

He didn't do a very good job of research on the park, first off, Geauga Lake was not sold to Six Flags. Funtime Inc sold GL, Wyandot Lake and Darien Lake to Premier Parks in 1995, in turn which bought Six Flags in 1998 for $2.1 billion, and Turned the Geauga Lake property into a SF park for 2000. (and Darien into a SF for '99)
Next, Double Loop has 2 trains.

But he hit the rudeness factor right on the head

I'm not quite sure I understand your first point! This is a quote from the SFWOA review "Opended: 1888 as Geauga Lake, 2000 Six Flags Ohio, 2001 SFWOA". No where does it say Geagua Lake was sold to Six Flags, all it says is the park has changed it's name from Geagua Lake to Six Flags Ohio to SFWOA, which is correct.

Thank you for pointing out the 2 trains on Double Loop, I'm changing it now. I wonder if they ever run two trains on it anyway.

They always run 2 trains on Double Loop.

Stealth, look at how many of those rides are Vekoma.
I went to the Great Escape yesterday and noticed the lines at this Six Flags owned park were terribly long as well, like a 2 hour wait to ride The Nightmare. However, the Tornado was a great ride! Are other Six Flags park bad with lines?

didnt read it did you?
"Six Flags bought the property in 2000, and built four new coasters including the Villain (a CCI woodie), Superman: Ultimate Escape (an Impulse coaster), Batman: Knight Flight (a B&M Floorless), and Roadrunner Express (a junior coaster). Not only that, but they pumped money into the Looney Tunes Boomtown area and some water rides. But with all Six Flags experience in the industry, you thought they would have realized that to make a successful park you need to do more than build a few rides."

ok, want a relief from your visit to SFWoA, suggestion, come down here to Texas and go to SFoT. Unlike some of these parks that claim to be amusement parks, but are only carnivals in disguise, Six Flags over Texas is the original and a true theme park
