World's longest water slide

I normally have little interest in POV's, but this is fascinating for the sheer length, at 1,111 meters. It's in Malaysia.

I’ve seen this and while it’s not a high-thrill ride, for length it really pushes the limit. Water slides can often be hard on your back, your butt, legs, and neck, and that’s all I could think about watching this. (I’d still go, lol)

I want to go back to RCT2 and build a waterpark that delivers riders to their slides via gondolas.

Let's hope they send riders more frequently than waiting until the current rider finishes and "clears the pool".

A tube slide like that I think is relatively comfortable, like a lazy river but moving faster. I noticed on this one that there are spots where they bleed off speed, presumably because it's impossible to accurately predict at that length with so many variables (condition of tube, slickness of the flume, rider behavior, etc.). Normal slides I've been on tend to get faster throughout, where those last few turns are pretty aggressive. It's not all that interesting, sure, but they really wedged it into the jungle. So many close trees.

You mean, "so much charm".

Good lord. The alternating colors were a little hard on my eyes/inner ear while watching it. Maybe in the jungle and with fresh air I could tolerate it. I'd at least give it a try.

It's sort of a lazy river in the trees. Which isn't a bad idea, but it seems like it would be more fun in a 2-person raft.
