World of Coasters

Anyone know what the deal is with World of Coasters? I try to get on iand it says going soon. What's up with that?

Movies and Coasters rock!

The site is gone. no more.
The content of the site (and I think the domain name) was purchased by Thrillride! and was supposed to be incorperated into that site when it was redesigned.  Unfortunately, Thrillride! closed and seems to have evolved into ThrillNetwork, which is actually a very good site which no one seems to mention.

I completely agree with Rob Ascough that www.thrillnetwork.com is a wonderful site that takes over where www.thrillride.com left off.  The layout is extremely easy to navigate and the content is similar to what Thrillride had before it died.  www.thrillride.com now redirects to www.thrillnetwork.com . So go visit the site and be Thrilled by the new site if you have not already. Almost daily they are adding new stuff and/or reuploading old stuff from Thrillride to the Thrillnetwork site.

That site is just a PHP Nuke site, kind of a cookie cutter if you will. I find it a little odd that the same news items appear on there just a couple hours after they appear on CoasterBuzz. Go figure.

I wonder what happened to the HUGE database of reviews on World of Coasters.  I had six or seven on there that I spent quite a bit of time writing.  Eric Griswold, whom I believe was a co-Webmaster(?), had probably 100 reviews posted.
Yeah, I was a big fan of Eric Griswold's work.  His scale for rating coasters, although unorthodox, really seemed to catch on with me.  Whatever happened to him?  Does anyone know?
