Working at Knott's Berry Farm

Kucinich isn't that wacko, nor is he a socialist. That's a stupid generalization. And his wife is probably hotter than anyone you've dated.

Jeff,

How would you describe Dennis?

-Sam

BTW, Who cares about his wife?

If you were going to make an ad hominem attack on his character (which is exactly what calling someone a "wacko socialist" is), it has everything to do with it.

I would describe him a guy who is probably too liberal for most people outside of his constituency, but also mercilessly focused on his own local issues. The guy gets stuff done for his district. He also just tends to say whatever he thinks without considering the consequence, which I respect, but is often the wrong thing to do.

If I may point out, this topic no longer even talks about roller coasters, much less Knott's or advice for the poster. Just saying :P

Fortunately, it's not up to you to worry about such things.

Jeff, I don't understand the first part of your post (it has everything to do with what?), but your description makes sense. He does seem to work hard for his district, and prior to his trip on Air Force One, he seemed to have more integrity than one would expect from a politician.

The guy seems to care deeply about his constituents, as did my late Representative Stephanie Tubbs-Jones. I liked her as a person, but I don't think I ever voted for her, and would probably disagree policy-wise with much of her views.

My apologies if you believe that I attacked his character. I am not a huge fan of too much socialism, even when it may personally benefit me, and he seems to have a reputation for being very far to the left, and of being a little wacky. When it comes to character though, prior to his ride on Air Force One, you could at least count on him for having some!

ANYWAY, back to Knott's conversation...

...Don't forget about departments other than Ride Operations. When I worked at a seasonal park, I actually ended up enjoying working for the Admissions department more than Rides. Seeing people's smiles as they enter the park can be a lot more rewarding than dealing with unhappy parents that want to risk their child's life by putting them on an attraction they are too small to ride!

Plus, at the park where I worked, the Admissions department seemed to have much less drama than Rides. If you do work at an amusement park, be prepared for Drama!
