Worker killed on Gauntlet coaster at Camelot in UK

Camelot remained closed as a mark of respect as an investigation into the accident gets underway. A spokesman for the park stated that there was no malfunction with the ride.

There is an article in this weeks AB concerning safety on British fairgrounds and pleasure parks.This past season there were five (now six ) deaths at fairgrounds and parks as well as a series of major accidents.Apparently Britain's Health & Safety Excutive ( the equivilent to OSHA) is urging the industry to improve its safety measures.
