A maintenance worker was killed this morning after apparently being struck by the Boulder Dash rollercoaster during routine testing. I posted this in the news section, but it said it may take several days for it to appear. Absolutely horrible! How can such a thing happen??!! Boulder Dash is among the best woodies out there, it has great speed and a lot of lateral movement which means it makes noise! I wonder how the worker could have been in a position to not hear it coming, never mind being in a place to get hit by it. Details will soon get out of course. Gotta feel bad for the family and for the park owners/operators...it is a nice place and this will sour things for quite a while.
I know you rider Gonna miss me when I'm gone

More bad press for roller coasters, Why do accidents seem to happen all the time now? Of course, Markley will be glad to add this to his case. My thoughts go out to the workers family.
