Wooden Coasters You Never New About

Not to insult the majority of, but there is great wooden roller coasters in the world that just seems like i am the only one that knows about it. In the Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin is a park called Big Cheif Karts and Coasters. Custom Coasters first roller coaster is there, Cyclops.
Cyclops has one of the most air time drops on a wooden coaster in the world, infact the only one that can beat it is Raven at Holiday World.
Plus the fastest wooden roller coaster in the Midwest. Faster than American eagle, High Roller, and Viper. ZEUS is also another coaster that is from Custom. Because of the fact that nobody knows bout the roller coasters, I'v never had to wait in a line...EVER.
I urge you to try these 2 woodies.

Well next time i'm near Wisconsin I'll stop there. Unfortunately that won't happen for a while. :-(

I've heard good things about the coaster at Big Chiefs and while I'm sure they're fun I seriously doubt any of them have more airtime than CCI's Shivering Timbers. That thing is all about airtime.

I'll still take Phoenix........ST never got warmed up for us....

I'd take Phoenix over Timbers any day, too. In fact I'd take Raven, Legend, Cornball, Vancouver's Coaster, SCBB's Dipper, CP's Blue Streak, SFWoA's Big Dipper, Conneaut's Blue Streak, Boulderdash, Coney Cyclone, and many others over Timbers.

Well not the fastest in the Midwest, Ohio is in the midwest and Son of Beast goes 78, sorry had to mention that, I've known about them before though.

I need Big Chiefs......badly! Thinking somehow I'll get another shot at SFGAm and that WI ain't too far away...of course, we've already *learned* that my Midwest geography leaves a LOT to be desired...;)

Don't be callin' me no hata, lol.....just call 'em like I see 'em. I really DID notice the ride getting better, but with one train and infinitely long dispatch times, Timbers never got really cranked up....with the 4pm closing, I left with "anticipointment". Partially my fault for being psyched up, but I just KNOW that ST has more kick to it than what I got...

I don't hate Timbers either. Fun ride, just not personally my cup of tea. But a fine coaster and a solid Top 20 IMHO.

While Cyclopsis a great ride, it is not CCI's 1st coaster. THat honor belongs to the Sky Princess at Dutch Wonderland in Lancaster PA.

CCI's first coaster was the Sky Princess at Dutch Wonderland. I think it was built in 1992. Cyclops was built in 1995.

The Grizzly(PGA) is the worst woodie I've ridden. While riding it you can't help but laugh at how crappy it is. They need to tear it down or do some major maintenance on it. Is it a clone of Grizzly at PKD?

I'm sitting shiva for CCI.

I have always known about those two coasters, I remember when Zeus opened,and have footage somewhere of them testing it out etc,and I alway wanted to ride them,but I am not planning to go down to there location for some time,so why bother talking about them,I'll just unfold that chapter of coasters later on.

Timber Wolf at WOF, seems to be forgotten. A great ride with insane air.
