Wood or Steel

Since most of my favorit rides are wood, But I do Like Steel. Odley I would have to say wood, when I really look at it. Beast fav ride. Im not a big fan of OTSH'S "Over the shouldier harnesses". Some because of roughness. But I like roughness. Mostley because of its feel of being to deep inside the cars. That may have alot to do with it. Im Glad that MF will not have them. It should change my opinion on the gigantic ride.
Wood is still number one. It's the feel of a runaway train. The Beast is still the best in my book, been riding that thing for twenty years now and it's still a blast (new brakes and all) What is great about the Beast is its out and back design. It's a trip into the unknown (for new riders) The only thing you can see is the first freakin' hill. I still think it's faster than the park claims it is. I've been on coaster after coaster that claim a higher top speed only to feel like I was putting along... (Screamin' Eagle at Six Flags St. Louis for example) They use to claim a 70mph top speed on that thing. Well if that slow piece of crap was doin 70, the Beast must be doin' 85! (although I know it's not) Son of Beast has a hard task to dethrone the Beast.
For steel coasters... Well once you've been through a loop it's all pretty much the same. Though I must say that Chang at Kentucky Kingdom was a blast. The rest of the park sucks. No shade trees anywhere! The park was built on a freakin' parking lot! Give me good ole' PKI, Graffiti and all!
Heh, heh...you guys said 'wood'.
I like steel and wood, and im glad that we all still like wood because i wood hate to see wood roller coasters get extinct but although it uses a lot of wood.
I wanna see plastic.

My favorite steel coaster is Kumba. Why doesn't it ever get it's share of praise?

It must be a Florida thing. Ever notice how no one ever names a Florida park as their home park? ;)

"hi, my name is Tim, and im a coasterholic"...."Hi Tim!!" hehe:)

So hard to decide. They both have there equal awesomeness. Woodies have that classic-ness to them. As for steel lets just say MF, X, B&M, up to 10 inversions (for now :-) ), 107mph, 3/4 of the current 1429 coasters worldwide. But even with that they still tie for my opinion.

And one more thing I heard about a plastic coaster. Does anybody know where or what this coaster is?

Americana (Now called The great americana amusement park at Lesourdsville Lake) is opening in 2002. Indivdual visits are very improtant to the parks survival.

I like both kinds. What if in the future they made coasters out of stone or glass? (lol)
