I have defended some peoples lawsuits on parks, but this one definitely hits the bottom of the barrel. What is up with waiting 2 years to file a lawsuit? However, this could result in alot of coasters being changed to lap bars instead of the OTSR. That would be a godsent.

Ok I will play devils advocate on this one. This isn't the first time that someone has claimed this problem. In an ironic story a women rode Mind Eraser (SLC) at SFEG a few years ago and hit her head repeatedly and said she has memory loss. I do feel bad for the women and I hope it means the end of OTSR's in the near future, or at least non-headbanging OTSRs.

This woman didn't wait two years, they have been preparing their case for a long time. It just made the news recently because of the Boomerang and Goliath thing.

She's faking there is NO WAY that happened!!?!?!?!?!?

I think you all need to cut the woman some slack. It is possible she could have sustained head injuries from the ride, it is after all a Vekoma running backward. Still, I don't really understand how the plaintiff could have possibly proven it was caused by the ride. She could have fell down some stairs for all we know.

This is just like the time that a woman sued a bingo parlor because the electric number sign fell on top of her and wound up giving her "multiple random orgasms". Like that's a bad thing.
