Orlando police are investigating a sexual assault on a Universal Studios patron who was attacked Wednesday evening after standing in line for the Revenge of the Mummy ride. The 32-year-old woman told police she was attacked by a man she thought was an employee after she spoke to him while in the express line of the ride about 6:20 p.m. The woman told police she asked the man for information about the entrance to the ride, and he asked her to follow him. He grabbed and dragged her into an emergency-exit hallway, where, she said, she was thrown on the ground face down. The suspect also grabbed the back of her head and repeatedly banged her forehead into the ground, the police report says. At some point, the man also began taking off his pants. The woman said she was able to fight and eventually escaped the man's grip.

When one enters the gates of a park they expect to be in a safe & secure enviornment but unfortunately such incidents as this can & do happen & it can really traumatize the individuals who are the unfortunate victims of such assaults....heck I still remember the time back in 05 when I came dangerously close to getting involved in a fight in Batwing's queue when someone got busted for smoking.I was so upset about it for the rest of the day that I didn't feel safe walking throug hthe lot to the car without a security escort for fear that the person responsible was just waiting around to finish what he'd attempted to begin.
But I can't really fault the park. This kind of thing could happen anywhere.
