Take care and God bless!
SFStL:
Ok to hit the "big rides" here's what you need to do. Go immediately to the back of the park and ride Boss, from there go to Screamin' Eagle, then on to River King Mine Train, then to Batman, then Ninja. Next go over to Scooby (suck it up, there's always a line) then to Mr. Freeze. After that I would look to see how the lines are for Thunder River (always long) and if they are too long for you go on to Xcalibur. Tidal Wave and the Plunge are two good water rides as well. If the weather is nice, some of the crowd will be over in Hurricane Harbor alleviating some of the crowd.
Have fun - and if you need more info (blatent plug) go to www.themeparksonline.org

I totally agree with the advice to ride The Boss at night. Ride at least once during the day, then plan on riding the back seat several times once it gets dark. It is VERY intense in the dark and almost seems like a different ride.
Definitely hit Screamin' Eagle, as it is totally unbraked (at least it was 2 weeks ago), and it really flies through the 2nd turnaround.
Once the Mr. Freeze queue gets inside the building, take the left corridor at the T-junction (if it's open). That side of the loading platform had a much smaller line than the right side.
For family rides, I thought Scooby Doo was a blast and the River King Mine Train was pretty good for a small coaster (hard to go wrong with a coaster that has 3 lift hills).
Have fun!
