Wisconsin Dells water parks?

I am planning a trip to Wisconsin Dells in 2 weeks, and I'm not sure which of the water parks is the best to visit, can anyone give input of the many water parks that seem to reside in that town? We are looking for one that is not overly priced and has good water type rides for adults.

Thank you,

Ron

You need to go to Noah's Ark, it is the best waterpark there. They also claim to be America's Largest Waterpark, a claim I dont doubt. It has everything, check it out here. AAA or ordering online costs you $25 ($28 at the gate). Im a Wisconsinite and I have allready been down there once and plan to go there again this summer. You wont be disapointed, there is only one waterpark I have been to thats better (Schliterbahn).

A little addition, the Dells is the waterpark capital of the world. It boasts 3 full size waterparks and countless hotel/waterpark combos. Infact the hotel/waterpark combo was invented here. How do they survive up in Wisconsin? Easy most of them are indoor waterparks, but seeing as this is summer you want to go to an outdoor one (they have more rides and more space).

All of the waterparks are around the same price range, the difference between them and Noah's is that Noah's is a full day attraction. Be prepared to open the park and leave 1-2 hours before closing. If you arent tired out by then, Mt. Olympus (FKA Big Chiefs) stays open till 10 and offers a reduced admission price after 6 pm. You can also take the Original Wisconsin Dells Duck Tour (highly recomended, by the way the duck Im talking about is an anphibious veichle, not a bird) and tons of Mini Golf places. *** Edited 7/4/2004 6:06:32 AM UTC by Touchdown***

I would also recommend the duck tour but you should also consider the upper dells boat tour. There are a couple of places to get off and walk around.
For waterparks there are Noah's Ark, Family Land, and Riverview. I wouldn't suggest Riverview as it is small and offers very little.
If you want to drive off the main road a little there is a great restuarant called River's Edge. It's newer counterpart is located downtown. It seems that many also enjoy Paul Bunyan's.
On a side note, don't go to Ripley's Believe it or Not. As the name implies, it is a rip off.

15 minutes from the dells...but sadly 2.5 hours from SFGAM.

One place I don't reccomend is an attraction called "Top Secret." It's $12 for 10 minutes of pure ripoff stupidity. It's an upside down White House that has been turned upside down in only 2 rooms and the rest of the thing is just plain dumb. Take a pic of the outside of it, because that is the only coolest thing about it. We didn't get to go to the waterparks, but they llok like a blast. Especially Noahs Ark, which has a new attraction with a mystery swing that I hear is really cool.

My Beautiful wife, Julia, is the best thing that has ever happened to me!

I have been to the dells like 50+ times, but not in like 7 years. Noah's Ark was a pimp-tastic water park (do they still have the tank wars?)WISDELLS is my favorite place (and CP) and I live in FLA, so you can tell it is very pleasent. They have an Extreme City(?) with a full SCAD tower, bungee jumping, and other extreme thrill rides.

Also, near the Jellystone campground, go the the secluded restaurant Ishnala, a beautiful place on the lake (river?)

Noahs ark is my first pick, but then go to Kalahari Resort, they have a huge indoor park, as well as an outdoor waterpark, some of the best slides/pools i have ever been in. Hope this helps!

You might want to carefully consider which hotel you want to stay at. If you stay at the Kalahari or the Wilderness, for example, you'll have their indoor (and outdoor) waterparks to use for free at your leisure. If you stay at Treasure Island or the Flamingo, you get free admission to a major waterpark - Family Land with Treasure Island and Noah's Ark with the Flamingo.

Turbo, bad news the Tank Wars has been torn down. Stingray now stands in its place.
