Wired had one of their "Today in history" articles today about the "first" roller coaster.
Anyone else spot the error?

^^Yeah the title of the post is "Wired Coaster Arcile", but I have feeling that is not the error you are talking about since you already addressed it ;)

Probably not what you're looking for, but the Mauch Chunk switchback wasn't used as an amusement ride in 1827. It was a regular working railroad until the 1870's.
