does anyone know anything about winterfest at carowinds
They only had it one season, I believe it was in '82 or '83. Apparently it did not do to well.
The only thing that the park does now for the holidays is light up the skytower as a christmas tree.

It was the year they were building Smurf Island one of the nice attractions was a large model train layout in the laser tag arcade(now demolished) The sky Tower was supposed to be open and travel part way up however it wasn't open niether were any othe rides You basically got the Plantation Square and and Old World Market areas with Christmas decorations
