Winter Formal @ Knott's!

Well, it's official... my girlfriend's Winter Formal is going to be held at none other than KNOTT'S BERRY FARM!!!!

It's closed to the public and only open to her school. The bad thing is, only 4 rides will be open. One for sure is Timber Mountin Log Ride (First of its kind I believe) and the other three will be named later.

I am REALLY hopeing that at least GhostRider, Montezooma's Revenge, Supreme Scream, or Hammerhead is open for the event.

It's being held on Saturday, January 26'th.

Wow, I wish my school's formal dance could be at the Point or something. Only difference in our Winter Formal dance is the "cool new video DJ with lasers, music videos, and more!"

No, they're not closing the park down, but after the park closes, it is free for you school.  That's how they usually do it.
Yeah, those are bought out by large group packages (catering packages). I mean very large groups, meant for such business, or large group events. BUT,the bad thing is that only parts of the park can be chosen to be rented out. I remember it as being either the large rides of Fiesta Village, Ghostown, or The Boardwalk. You can't venture out of your area. So, seeing that Timber Mountain Log Ride is one of them already, I would think that they've booked up Ghostown and Ghostown ONLY. You won't be able to hit Fiesta Village rides like Jaguar! and Montezooma's Revenge, nor The Boardwalk's Boomerang, Supreme Scream, and HammerHead.
what is hammerhead?
Hammerhead is a large but rare Zamperla 'Roto-Shake' flat-ride. It's one of the most high-end flat-rides you can find out there. The only other two in the USA are the Iron Eagle @ SFA and The Mighty Axe @ Knott's Camp Snoopy in the Mall of America.
Thre "roto-shake" is a flat ride in name only. What it really is is a torture device held over from the Spanish Inqusition; one that would make the Marquis de Sade cringe in fear. The first time I rode the one @ Adventure World (now SFA) about halfway through I was confessing to being the "Second shooter on the grassy knoll". That thing was so intense I thought my head was going to explode. On top of that, the ride had been down all day so I didnt really know how long to expect it to last. I thought it would never end. After that ride, I was done. We all went home...
