Winter Chill Out at Cedar Point, presented by PointBuzz, raises $13k for Give Kids The World Village

Cedar Point played host to an off-season tour for hundreds of enthusiasts this weekend, for the Winter Chill Out event, presented by PointBuzz. Proceeds from tour, $13,280, will benefit Give Kids The World Village, a non-profit Central Florida resort that provides cost-free visits to the region for kids with life-threatening illness and their families.

Spending a couple of hours on a weekend at a place you frequent all summer, when you get lunch, a talk with the GM and a walk-around hardly seems like a waste of time even for someone who is just marginally interested in the park. That, and raising money for charity doesn't hurt either.
