How many parks (excluding Florida, California, etc.) actually have winter celebrations now? I remember Kings Island had Winter Fest before Paramount bought the park. I was still pretty young then and I went to it every year. These were very fun and I was just wondering if many parks still did this. I personally wish PKI would bring back Winter Fest. These do a good job of relieving some of the theme park withdrawal that sets in over winter.
SFOT has a winter celebration.

You build it, I'll ride it
Hershey Park has one also. The rides around the carousel are put into operation ,the Dry Gulch RR and I belive the monorail is also. Belmont Babe and I were there back in 1998. No coasters were running .
Dollywood still does one, and its being hinted that Kings Island may even bring theirs back
Not exactly a theme park but the Columbus Zoo has "Wildlights" which features millions of lights in the trees and on buildings. A couple of children's rides are brought in. You can take a hay ride, go on the train, or ride the antique carousel. It's next door to Wyandot Lake so you can look over there and pretend you're at an amusement park. :)
I love Wyandot lake!
