Windseeker, dinosaur attractions on schedule at Kings Dominion

Thanks to mild winter weather, Kings Dominion is on time to complete construction of two major attractions for its 2012 season. The theme park expects to have its new WindSeeker swing ride and the Dinosaurs Alive! interactive exhibit ready to open April 6.

I'm heading down on April 20 for the weekend, and I expect to be at the park Saturday and Sunday. I couldn't care less about the big lizards, but I was hoping Windseeker would be open. I haven't been on one, and despite the fact it's a relatively tame ride, it holds some appeal for me.

I would expect it to be on time. They took long enough to figure them out last year that it should be smooth sailing for the new ones.
