Windjammer's Loop Gone?

My brother passed by Knott's Berry Farm yesterday on the way home from Hunnington Beach, He called me whe he saw that Windjammer's Loops were missing. Can anyone confirm this? If this is true, FINALLY!

No. The loops are still there. I was at the park yesterday (7/1/2001) for the entire day (up til closing time). The loops didn't go anywhere. The whole ride for that matter. I think your brother was fooled because Knott's perimeter fence is really tall and the loops can't be seen from outside the park. The construction walls were still there, but not much going on inside it. Other than 90% of the pieces of HeadSpin gone (being re-located to Wild Water Wilderness).

I can say without a doubt, no one will be upset when this coaster is gone.

I can imagine it now: www.savethewindjammer.com, and a few months from now Knott's will announce "New For 2002, Windjammer's Revenge!" Intamin will come along and modify Togo's old track and remove the loops to make a hypercoaster!
