I think they wait until the tip jar is full to go out and buy more cleaning supplies. Actually, I didn't think the bathroom was that dirty or foul on Sunday (not that it still couldn't be improved), so maybe they did something that morning.

It was still better than the restroom at the BK off of 95 in VA I was at on Saturday. That was like a game of Twister trying to avoid the puddles and soaked wads of TP lying around the stall.

The RR attendant seemed like a pretty nice guy. He and I chatted for a minute or two (so it couldn't have been that bad, or I'd have hightailed it back across the bridge quick). I'm sure he would have let you take his pic. BTW, on Sunday he had a bag of Middlesworth potato chips.

Ewwwww! Now THAT is just nasty!

The women's bathroom needs disinfectant too.....BIG TIME! Plus one of the faucets don't work.

And more toilet paper. I always hate having to ask the girl in the next stall "Um, excuse me, can you spare some toilet paper?"

Don't you know you're supposed to make sure the stall is "fully stocked" before you go in? Or else carry around a roll in your fanny pack along with a can of Lysol and a pack of seat covers. :)

I made it to WG Labor Day of last year and absolutely loved Cyclone! Its so wrong...is so many right ways. I was laughing my head off every single ride and the flat stretch following the back turnaround with the three potholes was friggin' hilarious! I rode at least a 1/2 dozen times ;)
Some major mooshing going on I'm sure. Were you auto-mooshed, Moosh?

I'd have laughed my head off, but I thought the rest of my body might follow closely behind. :) But if anyone heads back and needs a 4th person to run the ride, let me know.

It's an evil ride for sure. If I hadn't of been so sick that day I would of rode it over and over (front seat only). ;-)

It's nuts, and it just keeps getting worse (in all the right ways.....lol.)

-Tina

You would have forgotten why you were sick in the first place. :) Or at least had a new reason.

I liked the front seat, but I liked Seat 5 better. I don't know why that was the smoothest ride of the three I had, being the closest to the back (that was open anyway). And it was before any Twister rides, so I can't say I was loopy from that.

My last ride I let a guy and his daughter take the fifth seat, even though I was in line ahead of them. I figured what the heck, I'll try the 4th seat this time. Big mistake. Those speed bumps just before the end, or whatever they are, were murder in that seat. Maybe by that ride I knew they were coming and tensed up heading in to the last stretch.

Personally, I think it's people who fell off from the track above, and they just shoveled them beneath the track like sweeping dust under the rug. :)

Apologies for the horrendous delays, should have all pics from my recent trip up this weekend. For now, here's some tasty shots from Williams Grove...wich *is* named after me! (So I should get first dibs on buying the place, LOL)... :)

Nice pic of me changing my batteries. LMAO!

Regarding WG's entrance....it has to be the most insane entrance ever. The first time I was there 3 years ago we went through the "back" entrance which is where Bill and I ended up first this time. Thankfully we found the "front" entrance. Strange. I think Bill was about ready to drive over the grassy field. lol.

Don't trust Mapquest. I learned that twice last weekend. ;-) We "sorta" got lost trying to find WG then I got lost (yet again) in West Mifflin and Pittsburgh. I will never learn. lol.

Your name is Grove? :)

Great pics, btw. You were certainly very thorough (two pics of a disco ball no less). Too bad you couldn't include the sounds of the Allatoria, or whatever the heck it's called. It would make great musical accompaniment for viewing the pictures.

And I loved the pic of the cyclone "safe but rough" sign followed by the view of the lift hill. Made me laugh right out loud. They got the rough part right, that's for sure.

One thing I noticed, your barefoot Wildcat ride op was the Twister ride op on Sunday-- the guy I was calling Crocodile. Guess he didn't need the outback hat under the Wildcat canopy.

Looks like you had a fun time all in all. I know I did and I hope to get back before the season is over. *** Edited 8/13/2005 7:16:17 PM UTC by RatherGoodBear***

Bill literally takes photos of everything (I guess I would too if I didn't have a sucky memory card).

I got a few.....
