CP would probably let you do it. Aren't they closed right after labor day? Invite us to your wedding :)

Rollercoasters are the secret of life!

Well, I just turned 54 (hey, it's not MY idea!) and I'm going strong!!! I can't get enough of Nitro and Medusa. I'll be an enthusiast until Altzheimer's sets in and I can't find my way to SFGAdv! My aunt was riding coasters at 75! As long as nothing breaks while riding (hip, back), I'll be in line for Nitro's front row!!!

Life is a Great Adventure!!
I go to Great Adventure with my Grandma almost every week, and we ride all the coasters and flat rides. We also went down to florida on a coaster trip in Jan. and we did every single coaster we could get on. She now wants to go to Cedar Point.
First, a disclaimer: I am not "hooked" on riding roller coasters- yet.
That said, though, they are fascinating to read about, so yes, in that sense, I most likely will be an "enthusiast" for quite some time.
Till my neck snaps.

"Thank you for challenging the Raging Bull-We hope you enjoy the rest of you're day, here at Six Flags Great America"
No doubt forever!!
I dunno...my enthusiasm for coasters is still going strong, but my enthusiasm for going to parks and dealing with the heat, the sweat, the cost, the kids, the walking...all of that...is waning rapidly. And I'm only 25!
ill always ride. i honestly want to die on one instead of a hospital bed, it makes no sense. why not die doing something u like to do in the first place. besides, its even cheaper to get in when ur older!
Well I can't say for sure, but I sure hope I like them forever. :) If that is the case, the day I can't ride a roller coaster is when I know life is really over. :(

Don't you think that would be a pretty gruesome death?

I may try other things, but 99.999 of me will be coaster enthusiast
I will be until I die...or, until I come down with some strange disease that won't let me ride them...(doubt that'll happen though)

Oh my God! Imagine being like 90 or something and you're too old to ride, and SFMM make an announcement for the first ziga coaster (1,000ft).

There again, we'll all probably be 90 when Deja Vu opens!

I hope that when I'm 90 years old I won't be "too old to ride," as Grant put it. The things we do earlier in life (like proper diet, plenty of vigorous exercise, not smoking, and so on) have a large bearing on what we'll be able to do when we're older. Of course, we can't control some things like genetic factors and many accidents, so there's no guarantee.
What I really worry about when I get to be 90 or above is that I'll be too old to drive safely. So how will I get from the airport to the motel to CP, BGW, or wherever?
When many people here turn 90, it will be 2065-2075. Just think of the fiendish creations thought up of by then...:)

I hope I stay an enthusiast. I don't know of something more exciting and fun than going to parks and riding coasters.
Who knows, forever is a long time... *** This post was edited by chris on 7/26/2001. ***
I plan on dying on a coaster. I will never outgrow (hopefully) coasters, but if another thing comes up that interests me, then I am taking it!!! But ill still be an enthusiast
