Will we ever see an Arrow Fishhook?

It's been rumored that the Stratoesphere group spent alot of $$$$ on research on the fishook project.Wondering did Arrow take the money and run? Will Arrow use the design on some new project? Will Stratoesphere get city approval of the project. What's going on????
Anyone?
Is a Fishhook like a Demon drop?

1.Cedar Point(voted best CP Recreation ever)
2.King's Island
3.coming soon... Idlewild

the final decision is coming soon i think sometime in mid october. I have a feeling the coaster will get passed.
Hopefully it will get passed. If it doesn't, they should look for a park with a really tall tower that they could plan this design on, or a similar one. This would be an incredible experience and shouldn't just be scrapped!

The SFMM Salvi:

"I want to go on something more exciting than X"
i hope not, imagine....the sound that S:TE makes, and thats 400ft high and goes 100mph, this will be 340ft higher and go what, 125mph?  its at a hotel for crying out loud, maybe people wanna sleep after a night at the casinos and sleep in till noon, and then be woken up by that monster.  plus im questioning safety, again, arrow has what, 225ft experience, and they wanna jump to 740ft? i dont think so...

I think that the coaster eventually will get approved at the Statosphere even if some sort of settlement becomes necessary. Too much money has already been spent on the project and the hype created seems to preclude a total dissolution of the project. Even if the Stratosphere fell through I think that this ride could be attached somewhere else, maybe not a building but a natural drop.
themoneymaster99, i doubt they would run the ride throughout the night and into early morning. They probably wouldnt start it till 10 or 11 or something when everyone is awake and lively. But that city is never asleep and the noise would be generated at the base of the tower anyway not the top so the noise wouldnt be that loud.

Top 5
1.) Beast 2.) Phantom's Revenge 3.) SROS (SFDL) 4.) MF 5.) Alpengeist
Don't know certainlly what will happen, but if the ride is aproved, it will an amazing ride......would be a great ride. I hope they aprove it...

Mario- the fishhook is an Arrow concept as it says in the topic title.
magic mountain should get it down the side of the observation tower..i know thats probably not possible, but thats stabbing at an idea in the dark

A couple of things, trust me not everyone is awake at 10 or 11 in Vegas.  I wasn't, I'm a nightowl and I didn't go to bed until usually 9 a.m. and there are a lot of people just like me in Vegas.  There is always a ton of people at the casinos at all hours of the day.  Second thing is that the noise on the street is the problem.  There isn't anything in the tower except the elevators.  The ride wouldn't extend to the top where there are some shops, the rides, and other stuff.  But the casino is located at street level, as is everything around it.  Especially the people who live all around it and are the ones who are complaining.  So therefore the noise being produced at street level IS the problem.  And if it sounds anything like S:TE I doubt it will ever be built in a location as urban as the Vegas strip.  Don't get me wrong though, I would love for it to be built and I would love to ride it.  I  just don't see it happening, but you just never know with Vegas.
