Will Vekoma ever enter the Hyper Market?

As some of you know, Vekoma is building a hyper inverted.

But why isn't Vekoma going right into the Sitdown Hyper market?

My assumption...they'll get into the Hyper market very soon, since they already DO make sitdown's. Remember the old Vekoma loopers? there's not that many around though...

My Advice: Get out of debt first.

"Sadda Tay On The Tippy Tie"

well the odessy is coming in 2002, it going to stand 265 feet high, i guess that could be considered a hyper.

Montu, God Of Coasters

Raging Bull, Don't Fight It, Ride It

i hope not im happy with just B&M ,intamin and giovanola hypers
Yep, Odessey will be the first hyper inverted.

Ninja @ SFStL is one of them and I personally am not very fond of it.  When it first opened it was the bomb, but now even on crowded days at a park without many coasters there is hardly ever a wait.  I think that the Ninja is the roughest looper that I have ever ridden.  I find the Arrow megaloopers to be smoother.  I DO like the airtime on the first hill and the great headchopper but that's about it.  Most people mistake this coaster for an Arrow since the track is virtually identical.

The only hope for Vekoma entering the hyper market will be their new train designs.  Lately, they have started using the turntable assembly...ala Intamin & B&M.  Maybe use cars like on Gravity Max, only with lap bars.  Those are some pretty open cars!

I hope so, the more hypers the better. Vekoma has some creative compact designs, they just go too slow. A hyper Vekoma would be awesome.

Can they afford to?
Vekoma did make a hyper. It was in Japan.
Justin-I'm fairly sure there is no such ride. There is an Arrow Hyper, and a TOGO one, but no Vekoma.

I'm pretty sure that eventually Vekoma will enter they hyper market. It could depend a bit on how good this hyper inverted they have in the pipe turns out. I think it would be nice to see them make a hyper. If only to have one more company make hypercoasters...couldn't be a bad thing could it?

My current top 5:
1)Goliath 2)Vertical Velocity(SFMW) 3)Medusa(SFMW) 4)Stealth (PGA) 5)Riddler's Revenge

I thought Vekoma went bankrupt. How are they going to build what could be a fairly sweet coaster if they are broke? I don't know if Six Flags would purchase another ride from them after the famous "Deja Vu" Delays. I would think twice about it.
PT300, they actually did. Well they built it, but  another company contracted Vekoma to do so.

It was called Moonsualt Scramble. It rose 207ft. so it can be classified as a "hyper"

Ummm, Moonsault Scramble was a Schwarzkopf design.  Not Vekoma.

Justin, better check your link again. The builder is Meisho. Plus I assume the topic was about a standard Hypercoaster.
