No its not, they want to keep it down as much as possible, so that people will be pissed about it being closed and will forget about Magnum sinking [/sarcasm].

Yes, CP likes to rotate scheduled downtime. This year, Gemini will be down every Wed.

Towards the end of the season it ran very good. The day I went in the fall it only experienced 1-2 short breakdowns all day as opposed to constant breakdowns during my summer visit.

Ignore them. Raven thinks because hes been on this site non-stop for 20 days that he has the right to be a smartass. It seems as if they have gotten most of the kinks out of it, and it should be working well.

I think anyone is allowed to be a smartass when confronted with a question with such an obvious answer...when these types of questions are asked, they are predictably followed with sarcasm. It just wouldn't be a message board if it wasn't. :)

All I know is that I'm not visiting on a Wednesday this year, because Gemini is MY favorite coaster at CP...

LOL, I *suckered* a couple weeks ago when someone sounded VERY sure of themselves mentioning that Mummy was CLOSED until the *official opening*....basically, once a ride opens, i.e. Grand Opening, (and is as HEAVILY marketed as TTD was), then it's the park's full intention of keeping the ride open as much as possible...

Considering Knott's seemed to get a lot (most?) of the kinks worked out with Xcelerator, I think it's pretty safe to assume CP will have TTD's uptime to a very good level this year...the real question in MY mind is this: How's Hershey gonna do with Hershey Squirts....er, um, Storm Runner...;)

I am looking forward to feedback from the only rocket coaster that matters.
