Will this be Six Flags last summer?

The food at Six Flags parks is cheaper than Cedar Fair's. Cedar Fair is not nearing bankruptccy.

Just the other night my friend told me that SFA may finally get a new coaster next year (fingers crossed). When he mentioned the source and the stories that he told my friend were matching dead-on to what I knew, I had no reason not to believe him.

So that's what SFA batwing fan is up to these days.

It's going to happen. A few will survive under new management, but eventually Six Flags will only be a handful of parks. The rest not saved, will be gone. Plain and simple.

Sorry to be a bummer, but can't always sugar coat things.

Don't be too certain....from my experience and from what I've heard from others, Darien Lake post Six Flags is the best it's been in a while!!

Is it really? I thought it was the opposite. From what I hear at SF water is like $4 where at CF it is actually scattered but mainly around $3. Not sure about other prices though. *** Edited 6/30/2008 2:34:47 PM UTC by Parker17***

At Kings Island, we paid over $30 for lunch for two people and they refused a platinum pass discount. It was more than the ticket to get in. On the contrary I paid under $10 for my meal at Six Flags Saint Louis. I got better quality food and there was more of it.
YES! The stock price is at $1.23, and the top people don't know what they are doing. Hostile takeover jerks. I will miss the fact that I can't go to multiple Six Flags parks in a year because of the season pass, and letting them give me rerides, and that's the only differences I see with them, and other parks.

OMG THE WORLD IS GOING TO POT!!!
At $1.15 a share will we start seeing hostile take over attempts? Would a company like cedar far or a forein investor group start seeing the possibilities?

Heck i might buy more stock at $1.15 a share.

I still believe a merge of some sort is inevitable.
No company in its right mind would merge with Six Flags.

My author website: mgrantroberts.com

I visited SFGADV in 2001 all but swearing Id never be back saying that the park needed a enema both in operations and securtity.

After last weeks visit. THATS EXACTLY WHAT IT GOT! Im proud to say Its in my top five corporate parks. My SFKK trip Memorial day was quite a improvement over the last several visits there as well.

SF, Keep up the good work, keep within a budget and I think you'll be around for a long time.

Thats because they figured out the Donald trump way of buisness, Spend a fortune you don't have. Lay the debt on the taxpayer and come out smelling like a rose. Eastern Airlines. Taj Mahal ect. And he says someone trying to make a honest living isn't smart enought to be in his possition! He just knows all the loopholes or hires the people to find em.

I gotta give SF props for just not folding up and paying off with assets.

Ronman, stop going to SFGAm!

You only have bad things to say about them and yet your stories make it sound as if you visit often to enjoy the same awful experiences you claim to keep having. Do everyone a favor please stop going to that park. Let those that enjoy it enjoy it and let everyone stop hearing you complain.

^^Maybe that's cheap enough for Mr. Kinzel to buy with all the nickles he's getting from the Cedar Fair parks!?
Wow a locker or a share of stock?

Bolliger/Mabillard for President in '08 NOT Dinn/Summers

SF is down to 1.03.

Hmmm... CF has enough troubles without taking SF over. On the upside, they could claim the title of owning a few of the tallest and fastest coasters again.
