Will there be a last of Inverted's for a while?

Will we see a last of inverted coasters for a while. Cedar Fair is supposed to open two coasters for next season (rumor). Do you think we will see any more inverted's opening up in the next few years? What's your reaction?
I hope that there are a lot more inverts coming into parks, since they are so smooth (mainly because B&M builds them) and because they are just so much more fun than regular coasters.
I wonder if inverts will eventually become much cheaper, and many small independant parks will start buying them. I think that would be cool.
Well, there's always SLC's, "The Poor Man's Invert." ;)

Actually Lynch, wouldn't an Invertigo be a "Poor Man's Invert" because it is cheaper than an SLC?

Well, I consider invertigos to be boomerangs. How about "The Middle-Class Man's Boomerang."

Matt Lynch, since, obviously, the super invertigos are the Rich Man's... ;)

I hope Giovanola makes more inverts. Anaconda in South Africa looks amazing.

They're great coasters, so we'll see more of them for sure. They're not just gimmick coasters, like stand-ups, which I think will start fading out. I hate stand-ups due to the shoulder harnesses. If they could come up with a design that would allow you to comfortably raise your hands in the air, maybe I'd change my oinion.

So you don't like standups because you can't put your hands up. Well, last time I checked you can't put your hands up on inverts either!

Hate to tell ya this, but GIO is out of the coaster biz.

I can get my hands up much better on Volcano than those B&M inverts, I haven't found my way to ride the B&Ms yet........
I doubt they will stop being produced. It's all up to the parks.

Joey, would you be so kind as to point me to a website that has the press release from Giovanola that says that? I doubt your right. That was this little thing called a rumor...
Why dont B&M make inverts like Alpengiest anymore?
What is this rumor about Cedar Fair opening up two coasters? Where are those suppossed to go? No inverted for the Point, we have the award-winning Raptor :)

mikey
they dont make coasters like alpengeist anymore because there is no room in a park to fit a coaster that size. i love that coaster. i think inverts will be around for quite sometime unlike standups which r fun.
I think B&M inverted coasters are the best type of looping coaster ever devised, and I hope parks will keep building them. There are still plenty of parks that need one!

I can think of LOTS of parks with that kind of room.
B&M doesn't make inverts like Alpengeist, because no one has purchased one of the size since. It's not B&M's decision. And I can also think of many parks with plenty of room. PKI quickly comes to mind. I believe inverts are far from extinct. They're definitely the best looping coaster(IMO) anywhere. Why would parks stop buying them? And I know its way easier to put my hands up on an invert than a stand-up, the worst type B&M coaster, IMO.
It is only a rumor I believe that Giovanola is out of the coaster biz. The ride op at CP told me that it seemed very unlikely that Gio would drop out. Show me an offical press release from Giovanola, and I will believe.
