Will TALON be ready?

There was considerable coverage of the building of TALON at Dorney Park (new B&Mer) what with articles and mostly great photos as posted through here, etc. But lately I have not noticed anything. It is supposed to be ready for the May 4th opening. It's been "done" now for a couple weeks and I assume is being tested. Shouldn't there be some coverage somewhere about that?

When I was there two weeks ago the queue lines were being installed and station work was being completed. I also got to see the trains in action! Based on all that, and the fact that there has been plenty of time since then, and even more ahead to work on the ride, I don't see why it wouldn't open.

Talon is scheduled to open may 4, and i assure you it will as it has been testing ever since late March. They were way ahead of schedule, and when they tested it early, the station was only scafolding except for the track and the operators stand.

Yes I fully expect it to open on time. After all...B&M...'nuff said. I was just lookin' for some postiive reinforcement 'cause I will be there May 19...Talon is what is callin' to me (OK I can hear Steel Force, too). Thanks

It opens May 5th, not 4th. Dorney always opens on a Saturday. Just wanted to clear that up.

I got a flyer in the mail from them today. The front shows people riding talon. Was there some kind of preview day?

I work at Dorney and rode it on Saturday, all I can say is one word awsome!, escecially the front seat.

It isn't a preview day. When I went to AAA I picked up various brochues including Dorney Park and Cedar Point. All they did was change the colors of the track and train on Raptor to the colors of Talon! If you look closely, you can see that the people are wearing the exact same things!
