Will Superman even have a mid-course break?

On recent viewing here: http://www.rcdb.com/installationgallery1366.htm

All of the pictures (especially the model) show that this coaster will not have a mid-course break! Where there should be one, there is simply a camel back into the corkscrews. A coaster this large should have one, especially because they're running three trains. Anyone have info on how they can do this?

How much more floorless can they get?

Easy answer, it doesn't need mid courses because it has Two stations. The three trains would be one unloading, one loading or on the lift, and one on the course. Plenty of blocks for three train operation, Millenium Force has no mid courses and is ran the same way.

Everything I have seen regarding this floorless had led me to believe it will only run two trains. This would account for the lack of need for a mid-course block brake.

It was my impression it was only a two-train ride as well. It doesn't look big enough to need three.

So how about that airtime hill? Please sir, can I have another? ;)

Doesn't look big enough how, Jeff?  That's one of the biggest lookin' floorless I've seen. :-)

I am very glad there is no block, that air hill is perfect.

Regardless of how many trains it looks like it might be able to run, the "B&M rule of thumb"* says that without two stations or a mid-course block it will only run two trains. Their coasters usually have at least two blocks more than they have trains.

*Exceptions possible, although extremely unlikely (and I can't think of any off hand).

Gotta love that turn into the brake run, look at pic 19.

Jeff, according to RCDB (which admittedly isn't always dead on) it's going to be about 10' taller than Medusa east. The layout is a little bit bigger. Medusa east runs three trains with the mcbr. I don't think it's too small for a mcbr and another train.

The legend lives!

I couldn't believe it when I first saw a picture of that camelback... that looks almost too awesome!

Considering the amount of stacking that happens at the 2 floorless coasters I have been on, (Medusa West & S:KC) I think a 2 train operation is sufficent.

Jeff has a good point, I personally would trade a midcourse for an airtime hill ANYDAY!!

"X" marks the spot in 2001!

This ride seems pretty much the same as meduse, except for the drop straight after the lift.
It looks pretty darn cool!
This ride looks great, and the whole park looks like it will be great as well.  Hopefully they won't have any problems with there Super Inverted Boomerang.  But as for the floorless coaster it should be a pretty fast ride(not length wise) as long as there are no trims.

Is that the Mid-course breaks, after the Immelmann?

You're right, that whole park looks amazing, it has quite a coaster arsenal and it isn't even open yet!  A fantastic looking woodie, a Super Boomerang/Invertigo, a B&M Batman clone and a B&M floorless... wow!
