Will saved games work with the addition of Loopy L

Will games made with Corkscrew follies work after Loopy Landscapes is loaded into the system? Especially mega parks? And what of those made with trainers?
If LL is anything like CF when it was released, you will not be able to open any of the parks created with a trainer, until another patch is created. When CF was released, Chris Sawyer knew about the trainers, therefore added a code that would disable parks that had a great deal of land that had been moved, or a budget over a certain amount.

Hang in there for about 1-2 months after LL is released, and I'm sure that Techno or Danimation will release something.

Something of note, I read on an interview with Chris Sawyer that there will be a "sandbox" scenario, where supposedly, there will be no budget to worry about. He wouldn't tell any specifics though.

I've heard mention of the Sandbox mode. With that, one of the biggest reasons people use trainers ("I don't want to finish the scenarios, I just want to recreate a park / design my dream park") will be built-in.

Smart move on Sawyer's part, IMHO. Utilities that hack into the game can leave it in a unpredictable state, possibly leading to crashes that aren't necessarily the game's fault, but to the customer will make the game look bad...

(Kinda like when Blizzard FINALLY gave in and unprotected the multiplayer characters on Diablo, negating the need for backup programs like the one I wrote ;) I was HAPPY to see that the program I wrote wasn't needed anymore, because it shouldn't have been necessary in the first place...)

Hmmm... in the interview on C-Net (see news section) he said there would not be a sandbox mode.

Yes, but to quote Chris Sawyer...

"...the rules can change, and I'm sure fans of RollerCoaster Tycoon will find that some of the new scenarios in the Loopy Landscapes pack will satisfy their requirements!"

We'll just have to wait until Sept. 20th to find out.
